A AÇOTEIA FULL DESCRIPTION: This attractive “summery” villa with a cascade pool is surrounded by decked terraces and a rock garden, set within a small plantation of fruit trees with distant views of the Ria Formosa estuary (a natural park in south-eastern Algarve). The comfortable but compact interiors are decorated in sea and sky hues and some modern art pieces, whilst the outdoor areas have designed for enjoying the great Algarve weather: there is a shaded sitting/dining terrace with barbeque area on the ground floor, plus a covered roof terrace on the first floor. There is also a round “gazebo” which provides a spacious shaded and cool lounging area by the pool – there are curtains for keeping the heat out in the hottest hours and lighting for spending the evenings outdoors. A Açoteia is located in a peaceful location not far away from the sea - the only disturbance here could be the infrequent service from the small railway line which runs approximately 150 meters away. The grounds of the property are totally enclosed and with an entry gate. Tavira nearby, is one of the most architecturally attractive towns in the Algarve and its origin dates back to around 2.000 BC - just some of its charms are the beautiful empty beaches with sands that seem to go on forever; fields of orange trees, heavy with the scent of blossom; and houses with dazzling whitewashed walls and distinctive chimneys decorated to resemble fine tracery of lace. NB - Due to some unprotected drops around the swimming pool, this house is not suitable for families with toddlers! ACCOMMODATION - 6 PEOPLE GROUND FLOOR - Small but well equipped kitchen with breakfast table. Guest WC/shower. Storage room. Double bedroom with doors to terrace and shower bathroom en-suite. L-shaped dining/sitting room with French windows to covered decked terracing. FIRST FLOOR- Double bunk bedroom (4 beds) and twin bedroom sharing a bathroom. Other equipment available: gas hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, juice maker, fridge-freezer, water dispenser, satellite TV, DVD player, surround sound system, hair dryers in all the bathrooms. For winter rentals there is also an open log fire in the sitting room. No telephone. Swimming pool 10 x 4 meters with roman steps and cascade (1, 76 metres deep).
