CASA DA GALE FULL DESCRIPTION: The style and location of this property are quite unique – Casa Galé is a very modern wooden and glass house, designed by its architect owner as his own private holiday home to offer an elegant stay, with sea views and proximity to beaches. Although quite compact, the open interior spaces with large glass windows ensure lots of light, whilst the contemporary colonial style furnishings, natural textures and hues mixed with modern art, result in a very relaxed “tropical chic” style. Inside the floors are wood lined and outside, there is wood decking on the verandahs and pool surround. The top floor has a mezzanine living room (over the dining room) and the master suite, has a Jacuzzi bathroom with garden and sea views. On the lower ground floor, the spacious playroom was designed to benefit from the light that comes in through a glass wall to the swimming pool – a stunning effect! There are various satellite TV (MEO BOX) outlets around the property, namely in the master bedroom, playroom and sitting room. The sitting room has ceiling fans and there is central heating/air conditioning throughout the property. A large lawn area is surrounded by a rock garden and lined by palms, and there is a tennis court as well as a swimming pool. The property and garden total 2,400 sq meters and is protected by fences with electric gate and video phone. The property is situated approx 200 meters walking distance from “Praia da Gale” (one of the best family beaches in the area), yet away from the hustle and bustle that Albufeira is so famous for. A bit further on, “Salgados” with its dunes and a lagoon, is another stunning beach with great amenities. NB Due to unprotected drops from steep staircases between floors, as well as the pool hedge, this property is not ideal for toddlers! ACCOMMODATION – 6 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN FIRST FLOOR - Spacious mezzanine sitting room with access to verandah. Master double suite with walk-in dressing room, shower room and WC, plus open plan Jacuzzi bathroom, which in turn overlooks the swimming pool and garden. Door to verandah. GROUND FLOOR – Entrance Hall. Bunk bedroom for children and en-suite shower room. Two matching twin bedrooms (narrow beds), each with en-suite shower bathroom and doors to garden, sharing a decked terrace. Dining room opening to outdoor dining and pool terraces. Access to 1st floor verandah or lower ground. Open plan kitchen with central island/breakfast bar (equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, American fridge freezer with ice maker and water dispenser). Laundry room with access to rear of the property and tennis court. LOWER GROUND FLOOR – Spacious play room with day beds and access to pool terrace.
