CASA DAS LARANJEIRAS FULL DESCRIPTION: As the name suggests, this villa sits adjacent to an orange grove but also benefits from several terraces, designed to make to most of it’s peaceful rural location with distant sea views. Recently refurnished Casa das Laranjeiras is all on one level with terracotta tiled floors and wooden shutters on all the windows; ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom; an open fireplace in the sitting room and central heating throughout (charged extra) for use during winter rentals. The property is further equipped with satellite TV and DVD player. The Algarve is renowned for its golden sandy beaches and championship golf courses with year round playing, many of which are within a short drive of the property. But this part of Portugal is also known for its pretty countryside and nature walks, sleepy white washed villages with friendly locals, and reasonably priced restaurants and bars. There several places of interest to visit nearby such as the quaint village of Alte, the Baroque palace of Estoi, and the market town of Loule – great buys from Portuguese markets include dried fruits and nuts, marzipan cakes, pottery, leather goods and kitchen/household items in brass, copper and pewter. The Spanish border and Seville are also only a short driving distance away and well worth a visit. Situated within 5 minutes walk, Quinta da Caiada for 6 guests is also available to rent, making it ideal for either a large group or 2 families wanting to holiday together, yet retain some independence. ACCOMMODATION - 6 PEOPLE Hall way. Two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom – one of these bedrooms also opens directly onto garden. Twin bedroom suite with shower bathroom. Sitting room opening onto covered terrace and lawned garden. Spacious kitchen/dinner and separate larder. The kitchen opens onto a covered terrace for dining outdoors plus barbeque terrace and laundry room (staff use only). STAFF & SERVICES Housekeeper and gardener/pool maintenance team 6 days per week. Housekeeper will also meet & greet clients on arrival at Faro aoirport. Extra services on request/at an extra charge: personal laundry, cook service (shopping, cooking, serving and clearing up @ Euros 100 per meal for 6 people, extra person to help @ Euros 50 per meal, food and beverages are extra); babysitting (minimum 2 hours @ Euros 15 per hour).
